We have received numerous complaints from residents about the road in Taman Yarl, which is riddled with potholes. If these potholes are not repaired, they will continue to grow in size, leading to various problems such as vehicle damage, traffic congestion, and, most importantly, safety hazards.
Sudden attempts to avoid potholes can result in car accidents involving cars and motorcycles. Additionally, children riding their bicycles in the area are at risk of accidents with cars.
Back in 2020, Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia posted a statement listed 11 ways the public can officially lodge their complaints regarding damaged roads and roads with potholes.
The statement also mentioned that, “every complaint regardless of federal road, state road or council road, will be channeled to the relevant parties for immediate action.”
Through the collaboration of the Residents’ Association (RT) and the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), we have managed to fill the potholes in the area.
