Today, the 9th of July 2024, history is being made as finally all B40 students are set to receive the RMT (Rancangan Makanan Tambahan – food aid) to the delight and relief of everyone.
This tamil school caters to 248 students of which 50 are dedicated to pre school and are looked after with kid gloves. Of the remaining 198, shockingly almost 86% fall under the underprivileged and downtrodden category due to various factors, mainly involving social and economic reasons.
Our Madani Government together with the Rotary Club of Sri Petaling have been looking into the hunger pangs and delicate stomachs of two thirds of the total B40 students in this school previously, and are now joined by the member of parliament for SEPUTEH to complete this noble feeding programme in totality.
It is our earnest hope and prayer that stories of a rare & occasional few students collapsing or fainting like a deck of cards during assembly mainly due to stress, malnutrition and lack of malnourishment, will be a thing of the past and positively contribute to their overall health and future wellbeing……god willing.
